- TASTING NOTE: "The first release of this wine for La Linea. Around a third sees time in oak. Fresh and light white of pleasing character. Scents of lemongrass, lime, nashi pear. Flavours are similarly distinct with more nashi and lemongrass going on, and a pleasing, 'Bitter Lemon Schweppes' note trailing through the finish. Easy drinking, elementary stuff, but with good mojo for warm day drinking."- 89 points, Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion
- ABOUT THE WINE: From the Kelly family vineyard, just east of Woodside, Adelaide Hills, the grapes for this Albariño were pressed, the juice settled, racked and partially fermented on solids in both French oak puncheon and stainless-steel tanks.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: La Linea is a collaboration between two highly experienced wine professionals: David LeMire MW and Peter Leske.
Their first vintage was in 2007, after Peter could not get the imagined aroma and taste of a pale, dry, fine Tempranillo rosé out of his mind. He knew an Adelaide Hills vineyard which produced fruit perfect for the wine… and La Linea was born. The team has also made dry red Tempranillo for over a decade, always in fundamentally the same style: medium-bodied, with the variety’s typical fleshy mid-palate, drying tannins, and lower alcohol than many contemporary Aussie reds. And a fragrant lift which is delicious! While passionate about Tempranillo, the team is not entirely focused on one variety. - La Linea - COUNTRY: Australia
