- TASTING NOTE: Full flavoured and complex. Extra time on lees gives this wine a lovely, creamy weight to complement the delicious white fruited, fleshiness of the varietal. Fresh and saline to finish, this is gorgeous drinking.
- ABOUT THE WINE: The grapes are hand-picked, de-stemmed, crushed and settled at low temperature and fermented naturally. The wine spends six months on lees, a a in mix of tank and large oak vats with regular lees stirring.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Attis was founded in 2000 by third generation wine growers the Fariña family. Father Robustiano provides years of experience to support his sons Baldomero and Robustiano, Jr. in their management of the vineyard, winery and business operations. In order to enhance quality, in 2011 Attis inaugurated a new, modernized winery facility – and hired oenoligist Jean-François Hébrard to consult on the project. Quality has increased markedly since then with Jean-Francois improving the bodega's farming and winemaking practices, introducing spontaneous fermentation, aging on lees, and a reduction in sulfur usage.
