- TASTING NOTE: "In a glass the wine presents with a vibrant straw tinged yellow. The nose is flinty with lifted intense varietal characteristics of citrus and stone fruit combined, and complimented by pretty white flowers. The palate expresses a minerally liveliness of stone fruit, with some oyster shell, and saline notes with well-balanced natural acidity and complexity." South by South West
- ABOUT THE WINE: The grapes are hand-harvested and kept cool for 24 hours before being whole-bunch pressed. The juice is then transferred directly to a balanced mix of new, one-year-old, and two-year-old French oak barriques and hogshead barrels for natural fermentation. The wine undergoes nine months of barrel maturation on lees, with gentle stirring to develop texture. A small portion undergoes malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity and add body. The best best barrels were selected and blended to be bottled just before Christmas.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: South by South West is a collective of small-batch winemakers based in the Margaret River region. Their philosophy combines respect for the land with innovative viticulture and a fusion of traditional and contemporary winemaking techniques. They source grapes from their organically farmed Wallcliffe vineyard and a dedicated network of pioneering growers, allowing them to trace each wine’s origins and reflect its unique site. Their aim is to craft simple yet expressive wines using exceptional fruits and minimal intervention, showcasing the complexity and myriad faces of the South West.

Q: Can someone else pickup my order?
A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
