- TASTING NOTE: Vibrant and perfumed on the nose with notes of macerated strawberries, blood orange and red cherry. Fresh and lively on the palate, very vinous and crunchy, supported by a rounded texture and a persistent finish.
- ABOUT THE WINE: Vinified in concrete tank and large oak tini (upright wooden casks) without temperature control. Maceration skins for apx 20 days. Aged for 18 months in concrete and tini.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Graci Winery is located in Passopisciaro on the northern slope of Europe's most active volcano Etna, an area of thousand-year wine tradition. The vines, with a density between 6,000 and 10,000 plants per hectare, are between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level, part of which are ungrafted. Graci uses only indigenous grapes: Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto with a great attention to sustainability. Cultivation of vineyards is certified organic, with careful selections and search for full maturity, limiting the yields in the vineyard to a minimum. The approach in the winery is rigorous, in search of precision and finesse. Vinification and aging take place in concrete tanks, in stainless steel, in tini and large barrels produced with very long seasoned wood. All the work is aimed at favoring the personality of the vines, keeping intact the differences and nuances between one vintage and the other, in the belief that only by satisfying and respecting the natural expression of a great territory can wines have the potential to truly evoke emotion.
