- TASTING NOTE: "A 51/45/4% split, vinified separately in concrete fermenters, the grenache stays as whole bunches, the other two destemmed; pressed to 2800L oak casks, blended and bottled around the 10-month mark. I like this a lot – it’s savoury, yes, good fruit the foundation but all a stepping stone. - ABOUT THE WINE: The fruit for this wine was sourced from the biodynamically farmed Hazel’s Vineyard. Each parcel was harvested and vinified separately in vertical, open top stone fermenters with no temperature control. Grenache was fermented with 50% whole clusters, while Syrah and Mataro were destemmed, but the berries not crushed. The fruit spent between 8-14 days on skins before being gently pressed directly into large format oak casks for malolactic fermentation in our underground cellar. The wines were racked at the beginning of spring and blended in January 2022 and only received a coarse filtration.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
