TASTING NOTE: "The 2005 Lagrange was picked from 21 September until 10 October. It has a harmonious and vigorous bouquet with blackberry, cedar, tobacco aromas and just a light estuarine scent that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins and much more mid-palate presence than prior vintages. There is more body and grip, a sense of boldness towards the finish that should stand it in good stead for long-term ageing. Superb. Tasted at the Lagrange vertical at the estate. ABOUT THE WINE: 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot from 40-years-old vines. Grapes are handpicked into individual crates, vinifies plot by plot in thermoregulated stainless steel vats of variable capacity at 26-28 °C during 15 to 22 days with moderate pumping over every day, or délestage or pigeage. Maturation for 21 months in 60 % of new oak barrels, fining in barrel with fresh egg whites.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
